Here are a few fellow local artisans we’ve had the pleasure to work with, and can recommend without reservation.

Sheldon Slate — A quarry in northern Maine that makes beautiful slate countertops, sinks, shower bases, tiles, etc. Several of their beautiful countertops and farmer’s sinks have been installed on our kitchens! They’re nice people to work with and are committed to quality, and they produce a gorgeous Maine-made product.

Peter Brown Blacksmithing — Pete’s a talented blacksmith and builds gorgeous custom ironwork. You’ll find him at his forge in his shop and gallery, Iron & Silk, on Route 27 in Edgecomb. (207) 882-4055

Maine Art Glass Studio — Worth a trip to their gallery of beautiful work even if you’re not in the market for a custom art glass piece. A former church in Lisbon Falls, Maine that’s been renovated into an art gallery, art glass studio, and glass supply store. A number of our kitchens feature beautiful art glass from these folks!
