I’ll work with you to design and build a piece of furniture that fits your space and needs beautifully. I’ve built office furniture that maximized a client’s available desktop area to within 1/4″ of the surrounding walls, provided ample, lockable file storage, and offered plenty of drawers and adjustable shelves, all in gorgeous birch with a cherry stain to match her existing woodwork and budget. I’ve built television cabinets that match the design, trim, and mouldings of existing cabinetry in the nearby open kitchen. I’ve built large oak tables with full inch-thick tops and heavy, tapered legs of solid oak for that look of substance, heft, and quality you just won’t find in retail furniture.

I can follow traditional methods for door hinges, drawer mounts, and carcase construction for a classic design, or I can take advantage of modern hinges, drawer slides, and hardwood plywoods for their strength and benefits. I can use a natural Danish oil with a buffed wax for a beautiful, traditional finish, or I can spray an acrylic lacquer for more protection.
